STRAWBERRY UPDATE for TUESDAY, May 30th, and the next couple of days. The Strawberry Patch is CLOSED for Tuesday May 30th., but the Market will STILL be OPEN.
There’s other crops growing on the farm too! SWEET CORN is in TASSEL and on Schedule for last week of June!
BLUEBERRIES are just Starting to RIPEN. Not enough BLUEBERRIES for pick your own. The BLUEBERRY PATCH is CLOSED.
BLACKBERRIES are coming along nicely. TOMATOES growing well too! They’re not ready yet, but we’ll let you know when.
Hey Folks, we had a busy day of Strawberry Picking at the Farm Saturday! Y’all did an awesome job of picking and we are picked out! Thanks to everyone who came out and picked STRAWBERRIES Saturday!
The STRAWBERRY PATCH is currently CLOSED for TUESDAY, May 30th. as we wait for more STRAWBERRIES to RIPEN.
Not sure about Wednesday, May 31. We will walk the patch Tuesday evening and make a decision about Wednesday.
PLEASE check our posts before coming to pick. We are making decisions daily on picking conditions and whether or not we will have pre-picked. We want you to have the BEST picking experience possible and to pick the BEST Strawberries possible, so we are making these decisions daily.
The Market will still be OPEN Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. and Saturday 8am-5pm.
We will not have Pre-Picked Strawberries Tuesday, May 30th. As soon as the Strawberries Ripen and there’s enough volume, we will open the Patch again for picking.
The Good news is that there are lots of BLOOMS and GREEN STRAWBERRIES in the Patch. We just have to wait for them to ripen. So don’t worry, there’s still PLENTY of time to pick! It’s kind of been an interesting Season. We haven’t had a flush of berries this year, Just slow steady ripening. But that’s good too. We’re getting blessed with a longer season.
