Tomato Seedlings, Primo Red, planted in High Tunnels today. The high tunnels help protect from wind and rain, and they also increase our growing temps. We pull the black plastic around the seedlings and staple it together. Next we will cover the black with red plastic. The red is cooler than the black plastic and it reflects the red part of sunlight back up to the plants. This promotes earlier growth and earlier ripening. Game on!
