Crazy weather keeps cycling through. With all the cool wind blowing down from the North yesterday, we thought we might get a frost so we covered our melon, cucumber, and squash plants. We ended up with a low of 36 and no frost, but we have seen frost before at 38 so we wanted to be prepared. Today looks like the best day this week to pick strawberries. Looks like rain settling in on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week. The patch opens at 8:00 and we’ll be open until 6:00. We are starting to have other produce in the Market now: Asparagus, Spring Onions, Radishes, and Lettuce. Should have some Kale and Collards later in the week. See you at the farm and in the patch!
A chilly, sunny Monday morning.
