My Christmas Tree Lasted Forever!

Shhhh! It’s a Secret! (But Not Really)

ShhhSecretPics-text

Many of our first-time customers come back each year to tell us, “My Christmas tree lasted forever! How come it lasted so long?” We’re happy to share our secret. Many locally-sold Fraser Fir, Christmas trees are cut at the end of October and the first week of November.  They are placed in cold storage so they can be quickly shipped to the big box stores.  Our Fraser Fir Christmas trees are harvested from our Cousin’s tree Farm, Willow Springs, in Christiansburg Va.  They are cut the Friday before Thanksgiving, so they stay fresh and last much longer than the already weeks-old trees you see in town! We also offer free southern hospitality and great customer service. We’re happy to help you pick out a tree that’s just the right size for the area you have chosen in your home. We’ll give it a fresh cut on the bottom, wrap it for you, and load it onto your car, all for no extra charge.  You can also visit the Choose and Cut patch on our farm.  Choose from White Pine, Canaan Fir, and Norway Spruce.
