We planted pumpkins last Wednesday and Thursday. They have just started poking through the ground. We planted about 20 acres for our U-pick operation, our retail Market, and our Wholesale Customers. We have planted: pie pumpkins, jack o lanterns, heirlooms, mini pumpkins, winter squash, and gourds. We will begin picking pumpkin the last week of August. Strawberry season has ended. We will be mowing off the patch today and tomorrow. There are still a few berries to pick for the adventurous. The Raspberry patch is closed for pick your own, but there are fresh raspberries in the Market. Other Produce today: TOMATOES, RASPBERRIES (RED, BLACK), YELLOW SQUASH, YELLOW ZUCCHINI, GREEN ZUCCHINI, GREEN CABBAGE, RED CABBAGE, SPRING ONIONS, KALE, COLLARDS, LETTUCE, and MORE! Sweet Corn coming soon, maybe the first week of July. It got a late start because of the cool weather. Busy tying and weeding tomatoes today. See you at the farm!
