Sweet Corn poking through the ground and Strawberry Picking

We plant sweet corn every week, so we can pick it every week.  This is the fourth planting, it’s about 2 inches tall and there’s a storm building in the background.  There are 2 more plantings in the ground after this planting.  We will make the last planting the last week of July.  The 2016 Strawberry Patch continues!  We are open today from 8a.m. to 5 p.m.  The pick your own patch is open as well.  We did get some rain last night, so the patch is a touch muddy, but their are plenty of berries there.  And these are definitely the SWEETEST BERRIES that we’ve had!  They are so good!  We have also picked a few raspberries and blueberries.  The raspberry and blueberry patches aren’t open.  Produce in the market today:  RASPBERRIES, BLUEBERRIES, STRAWBERRIES, KALE, LETTUCE, MINT, CHIVES, OREGANO, ROSEMARY, COLLARDS, SPRING ONIONS, RADISHES, MESCLUN MIX, SPINACH, and SQUASH.  AND REMEMBER WE ARE DIPPING ICE CREAM!  See you at the farm and the patch and the ice cream line!IMG_20160602_175940
