The plastic has been laid in the field for the 2017 Strawberry Season. We have laid 10 rows of white plastic. The white plastic doesn’t get as hot as the black plastic. We are hoping for these strawberries to ripen a little later than the ones on the black. Trying to spread out the ripening, so they don’t all ripen at once. We’ll see. Strawberry plants arrive next Friday. We’ll need to get them in the ground around pumpkin picking. Busy on the farm today: Hooking up water to the strawberry patch, picking SWEET CORN, TOMATOES, CUCUMBERS, SQUASH, and PUMPKINS! Lots of WATERMELONS TOO for your picnics! Come enjoy the fresh air today! No charge on the fresh air, feels like FALL. We’ll be open today until 5. We are closed on Sundays. Labor Day (Monday), we’ll be open from 8-1. See you at the FARM!
