Strawberry planting at Sunset

Planted Strawberries until 8:30 last night.  We paused to enjoy God’s beauty for a few minutes.  It’s amazing how every sunset is different!  31,200 plants in the ground.  14,400 plants to go.  We plan on finishing today.  We are busy picking pumpkins as well.  Plenty of selection of pumpkins in the greenhouse and in the barns behind the Market.  Choose from White Knight, Lumina, Polar Bear, Long Island Cheese, Fairy Tale, Blue Delight, Cinderella, One Too Many, Jack O’ Lanterns, Pie Pumpkins, Gourds and Miniature Pumpkins.  All @ $.75/lb. Or $80 for a piled up wheelbarrow.  The wheelbarrow must be able to be moved to the counter and to your vehicle without the pumpkins falling off and without someone holding onto the pumpkins.  Mums are here too!  Pansies coming soon!  Remember that next Saturday, October 1st is our Annual Taste of the Market!  Come taste the difference!  We will be sampling many of the products that we sell, including:  Trickling Springs Creamery, Papa Weaver’s Pork, and Roseda Beef!  Hayrides begin this Saturday and run from 9a.m.-5p.m.  Free Hayrides! Free Admission! Free Parking! Free Fresh Air!  See you at the Farm!img_20160920_192242
