Thanksgiving and Christmas Turkeys. If you want a turkey for Thanksgiving or Christmas, you need to order it now. Deadline for ordering a Turkey is Saturday November 19. We are now taking orders for Turkeys. The turkeys will range between 14 and 20lbs, with a few larger ones, and are $4.70/lb. (For example $65.80 for a 14 lb Turkey and $94.00 for a 20 lb Turkey). We require a $45.00 nonrefundable deposit. Turkeys will be available the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.
Customers that picked up Turkeys for Thanksgiving last year, really enjoyed them and said that the meat was fantastic. Remember these Turkeys are raised in portable pens, on pasture, in the Shenandoah Valley, on Heartland Harvest’s farm. Their diet consists, of grass, bugs, and all natural grain. We will not order extra Turkeys. Be a localvore (eat within 100 miles of where you live). We don’t raise Turkeys on our farm, but we order them from our friends at Heartland Harvest Farm in the Shenandoah Valley.

Gold Rush, Fuji, and Pink Lady! We picked up several bushels of apples from Saunders Brothers Orchard in Nelson County. These apples are perfect for eating fresh, or in salads, or for baking. Homemade applesauce is easy to make in a slow cooker. Just peel them and put in a slow cooker on low overnight, then just add cinnamon and sugar in the morning. We still have pumpkins for baking and decorating. Only $5/each. Any Size! Plenty of winter squash $1/lb and sweet potatoes $1.25/lb.. Egg Nog is here too! See you at the FARM!
Fresh Cut Fraser Firs will be arriving from our cousin’s tree farm, Willow Springs, on November 21. Our trees are really fresh! They are cut just before shipping. Sizes will range from 5ft-12ft. 5ft-6ft $40, 6ft-7ft $50, 7ft-8ft $60, 8ft-9ft $80, 9ft-10ft $110, 11ft-12ft $175. A few live, 4-5ft tall Colorado Blue Spruce Trees $80 will be here too! Our Cut your own patch will open on November 19. Choose from White Pine, Canaan Fir, Norway Spruce, and a few Colorado Blue Spruce. Prices on choose and cut $28-$80.
