#Sweetcornwatch continues! The irrigation is hooked up and we are ready to GROW! The soil was powder dry under the plastic when we planted. It’s actually easier to plant when it’s dry because the soil doesn’t stick to your fingers and the seed when we plant. We planted 66 day sweet corn but it will take a least a week longer because of the Spring time temperatures. Watermelons and cantaloupes to go in the ground in a week or 2. Remember #csasignups are happening NOW! Our CSA season begins the week of April 24th. This Saturday April 1 is the deadline for signing up. After the deadline, if there are spots left, we will allow signups to continue. All new CSA members will receive a copy of The Practical Produce Cookbook.
