Strawberry Watch 2018 season! We know that everyone is anxious! We are too! And other products/produce in the Market.

Strawberries are slowly ripening.  We are picking between 40-70 quarts each morning.  There are plenty of pre-picked quarts in the Market, but there are not enough ripe strawberries in the patch to open for pick your own.  We are hoping that in about 10 days to 2 weeks we’ll be able to open the patch.  This sunshine is wonderful for ripening strawberries, and the flavor is amazing.  The cold March and April we had got us off to a slow start for the Spring, so now we are waiting for the Strawberries to ripen.  Plenty of Fresh ASPARAGUS from our friend Joel Yowell in Madison County.  Plenty of Fresh MUSTARD GREENS (red and green), KALE, SPINACH, SALANOVA head lettuce, COLLARDS, PAC CHOI, and MESCLUN MIX in the fridges in the Market.  Check out our Pasture Raised eggs from our Neighbor Todd Schlund (look in the milk cooler).  Pasture raised whole Chickens are available from our Friends the Baileys at Grafted Farms in Unionville.  (check out the tall freezer by the kitchen).  AND check out the yummy treats coming out of JoJo’s kitchen.  See you at the FARM!
