Sweet Corn update: Really tight supply until next Thurday. There is no corn for this Thursday and Friday. There might be some available by the dozen on Saturday, not sure yet. The patch that we are supposed to be picking now, was planted on a Thursday right before we got 6 inches of rain. A lot of the seed rotted and didn’t come up. What did come up, the deer ate the tip off the ears. The good news is, once we start picking again, we should have sweet corn until middle of October. Tomatoes are in tight supply too until our next patch ripens. We are picking a couple of baskets every other day. Plenty of : PEACHES, NECTARINES, PEPPERS, JALAPENOS, EGGPLANT, WATERMELONS, SPANISH MELONS, CANARY MELONS, ICE CREAM CONES, CUCUMBERS. GREEN BEANS AND GALA APPLES SHOULD ARRIVE THURSDAY AFTERNOON.
