sPower Energy Project

In the last couple of weeks we have gathered more information on the project. As second, third, and fourth generation farmers in Spotsylvania County, we are very supportive of landowner rights. However, we are also members of this community and are therefore conscious of our neighbors’ concerns with regard to land developments which will have a lasting impact on us all. In the matter of the sPower Solar Energy Project, it has been a challenge to support land owner rights while acknowledging our neighbors’ (and our own) concerns, and to support the efforts of our local government to make economic improvements.

After careful consideration and time to reflect, Miller Farms no longer supports the sPower Solar Energy project.
