Strawberry update for Friday May 22. There are pre-picked Strawberries available in the Market today on a first come first served basis @ $6/quart. We are limiting the # per customer per day, not sure how many yet. The patch opens at 9am for picking today, it will be muddy, because of the rain last night and this morning. If you come to pick, rain boots are recommended as there is standing water at the beginning of the patch. Containers are located in the hut at the patch, help yourself and then check out at the Market. Pick your own is $3.50/lb. Patch closes at 4:45 today. PLENTY of SALAD GREENS, COLLARDS, PAC CHOI, and MUSTARD GREENS.
PLENTY of MILK, CHOCOLATE MILK, HEAVY CREAM, HALF and HALF, BUTTERMILK, CHEESE, and of course there’s ICE CREAM. We are not dipping ice cream right now, but we have plenty of pints for you to choose from with lots of flavors. 3 freezers have ice cream in them. We will be open tomorrow, Saturday May 23, beginning at 8am for Strawberry picking. Not sure about the patch for Memorial Day yet. If the patch is open, we will close at 1pm. See you at the farm!
