Yes, we will have pick your own Strawberries today beginning at 9am. No early birds. It is a little muddy at the end of the patch near the driveway, but once you get in, the patch is fine.
Wear boots or old shoes. The strawberry patch is covered and we need time for the covers to dry and to uncover them. We will close the patch about 4:00 pm so that we can cover it to protect from frost again. We may close sooner if we get picked out, Strawberries are ripening slowly due to all of the cool weather that we are having. Strawberries are $3.50/lb for pick your own. Containers are provided. Pre-Pick Strawberries will be available in the Market @ $6/quart. A few things to remember: Please Keep your children with you at all times. Our farm and the road is very busy. Our plan now is for you to be able to check out at the Strawberry Hut if you have a credit card. If you have cash you can check out at the Market. While visiting our Market during Strawberry Season designate one person from your family to come into the Market to shop to help us keep our numbers down. The Strawberry patch is located across the road from our Market near the Greenhouses and the big water tanks. Look for the red hut by the greenhouses. See you at the farm and in the patch.
