Sweet Corn update: Yes we have picked Sweet Corn for today, Thursday Sept 24, however it will probably be about 1 week until we pick more. We STILL have 3 more patches to pick, but they aren’t ready. Remember the drought we had this Summer and we asked everyone for prayers? The Sweet Corn that we should be picking now didn’t come up and start growing until the rains came. So thank you very much for the prayers and thank the Good Lord for sending the rain. The cooler weather at the beginning of the week was nice to work in, but 38 degrees in the morning doens’t ripen corn very fast. We are now patiently waiting for the next patch to ripen. As soon as it does, we will post and let you know. Thanks to all of y’all being loyal sweet corn buyers and buying Sweet Corn all Summer!
