Pick your own Strawberries are finally here! Strawberry Season is just beginning at Miller Farms! We are picking Daily and Strawberries are for sale by the pint in the Market on our Farm. There are finally enough Strawberries for us to open the patch for pick your own!
The Red hut has been moved to the field. You can grab your picking container there or stop by the Market to grab your picking flat or Busket. The whole patch is ready to be picked. Even though we had rain yesterday, the berries are in great shape! We picked the patch hard enough before the rain that the berries that have ripened are excellent and have excellent flavor! It is a little muddy from this rain, but not too bad. Remember to wear boots or old shoes. The Best Strawberries are the ones that you pick yourself.
The patch is located across the road from the Market just past the big water tanks and just past the greenhouses. Plenty of room for parking at the patch. When you are done picking, come back across the road to pay and check out. Pick your own Strawberries are $4.99/lb. PLENTY of Pre-Picked Strawberries are available in the Market at $5/pint.
