STRAWBERRIES! Strawberry Season has begun! Strawberries are available pre-pick only. We are picking Strawberries daily and they are available in the Market by the pint. No pick your own yet. We will post when pick your own is ready. Not sure when pick your own will be ready. We have to have enough volume in the patch in order to open pick your own. Currently we are able to keep the patch picked and sold through the Market. The weather has not cooperated for a steady ripening of the patch. Really warm days followed by really cool days. We actually had a frost Wednesday morning and the patch was uncovered because it was too windy to cover. Praise the Lord the frost didn’t affect the Strawberry Blooms. 90 degrees yesterday and today with lots of sunshine has ripened lots of berries, but we are still able to sell all of them without opening the patch. We are covering again tomorrow morning ahead of the rain because there’s Frost coming again Monday and Tuesday mornings. Don’t worry though, pick your own is coming! It’s still EARLY! The last 2 years, we opened the patch around May 10th. So keep checking back for updates and we will post as soon as they are ready.
