STRAWBERRIES! We have picked hard today so that you can have FRESH STRAWBERRIES tomorrow as well! Rain tonight and Rain tomorrow, but don’t let that stop you from coming out to buy FRESH STRAWBERRIES! We’ll pick til dark tonight to make sure we have enough STRAWBERRIES for you tomorrow. The rain is good for us. It has been a really dry Spring. Our SWEET CORN that has been growing since the first planting at the end of March need some rain. The rain last weekend was a huge blessing, but we need more. We’ve made 9 plantings of SWEET CORN so far this year. The corn planted on March 25 is about 4 Inches tall and the 9th planting went in the field today. We stagger the plantings out a half acre at a time so that we can have FRESH picked SWEET CORN all summer. We’re making a planting about every 4 or 5 days so that we can have PLENTY this year. BACK to STRAWBERRIES, there’s still not enough yet for pick your own, we’re watching the patch and the weather to see when we’ll be able to open the patch.
