STRAWBERRY and WEATHER UPDATE: For today, Friday, May 19th. The STRAWBERRY PATCH will be OPEN for Picking and the Weather will be PERFECT for PICKING!
Bring a jacket this morning, it’s a touch cool. Today is a GREAT DAY to pick! And the STRAWBERRIES are in GREAT SHAPE!
Today, Friday May 19th will be AWESOME for picking STRAWBERRIES! Saturday morning should be good too, but it depends on how busy today is. Saturday afternoon could get slim, it just depends on how busy we are. The ticket for coming to pick Saturday is too come early.
BUT remember to check our daily post before coming to pick.
We WILL have Pre-Picked STRAWBERRIES this morning and SHOULD have them all day. We should have them for tomorrow morning, Saturday as well, but just depends on how fast we can pick. Trying to get other things done today and tomorrow.
Remember we are Hand Dipping Ice Cream cones with Homestyle Creamy Ice Cream from South Mountain Creamery. A PERFECT treat for before or after picking Strawberries.
There are about 40 rows of STRAWBERRIES. The 25 rows or so closest to the Greenhouses have the most ripe Strawberries and are fairly full at this time.
The other rows have STRAWBERRIES too, but those 25 closest to the Greenhouses have the most.
The BEST picking is on those rows. Remember to only pick fully red strawberries. A strawberry will not ripen once it’s been picked.
PLEASE check our posts before coming to pick. We are making decisions daily on picking conditions and whether or not we will have pre-picked. We want you to have the BEST picking experience possible and to pick the BEST Strawberries possible, so we are making these decisions daily.

The Strawberry Patch is located across the road from the Market. Just past the big water tanks and Greenhouses. Containers are located in the Red Hut at the Field or at the Market. Check out is at the Market. Pre-Picked Strawberries when available @ $5/pint.

Our Market is OPEN Mondays-Fridays 9am-5pm. Saturdays 8am-5pm. Closed Sundays.
You can come earlier to pick, but you can’t check out until the Market is open.
