Thursday June 29th update at the Farm: Next Tuesday JULY 4th we will only be open until 1pm. We will be closing at 1pm. Tuesday July 4th. Milk has been delivered!
We are patiently wait for the SWEET CORN to finish ripening. We sure thought it would be ready by now, but these cool days and nights are delaying it. It was 59 degrees this morning. Beautiful weather, but corn needs some heat to finish filling out.
PICK YOUR OWN BLUEBERRIES and STRAWBERRIES! The next variety of BLUEBERRIES has ripened up and yes, there are STILL STRAWBERRIES to pick. The picking is actually quite good on the STRAWBERRIES. Both BLUEBERRIES and STRAWBERRIES will be open Today, Friday, and Saturday for pick your own.

STRAWBERRIES too, if you pick your own. We no longer have pre-picked STRAWBERRIES, but you can STILL pick your own this week. This will be the last week for STRAWBERRIES. The first 10 rows or so by the greenhouses are done, but the rest of the patch has Strawberries.
TOMATOES: our beefsteak tomatoes are now available in the Market.

SWEET CORN: Soon! Hopefully Saturday! We are waiting for the the tip to finish filling out. We are so close. All those cool nights in May has delayed the sweet corn. Last Friday and Saturday were really our first corn growing days. Hot and Muggy. Sweet Corn loves temps in the upper 80’s and high humidity.
STRAWBERRIES! YES, the STRAWBERRY PATCH is still open for pick your own! There will not be pre-picked STRAWBERRIES in the Market, but there are still a good bit there for picking. Not as plentiful as in the middle of the season, but still good picking. This is the last week for pick your own STRAWBERRIES.
The STRAWBERRY patch is still open for the adventurous. There are still STRAWBERRIES in the patch to pick. We are starting to pull out the Strawberries, but we are leaving some for you to pick. No pre-picked STRAWBERRIES today.
BLACKBERRIES: There will be pre-picked BLACKBERRIES in the Market today. There will not be much for pick your own blackberries.
BLUEBERRIES: PICK YOUR OWN and pre-picked BLUEBERRIES today.
HONEY: We now have HONEY from BEES right here on our farm. We also still have Spotsylvania Honey in stock.
ICE CREAM: Hand Dipped Cones with Homestyle, Creamy Ice Cream from South Mountain Creamery.
EGGS: Fresh from our Pastured Chickens. Our chickens are moved daily in their portable pen to a new section of pasture each day so they can have fresh grass, bugs, and other goodies to eat.
BEEF: from our Pastured, Grass Fed Angus Cattle. Ground Beef, Steaks, Roasts, Shaved Steak, and more!
Mondays-Fridays 9am-5pm. Saturdays 8am-5pm. Closed Sundays. Remember the Market closes at 5pm. Tuesday July 4th we will be closing at 1pm.
