Today is Memorial Day, Monday May 29th. Remember to pause and Honor those who have died in Military Service for our Country. The Market will be OPEN 9am-1pm. We will be Closing at 1pm. The STRAWBERRY PATCH WILL BE CLOSED. We are picked out until probably Wednesday. We will not have Pre-Picked Berries either.
We had a busy day of Strawberry Picking at the Farm on Saturday! Y’all did an awesome job of picking and we are picked out! Thanks to everyone who came out and picked STRAWBERRIES Saturday! The PATCH will be CLOSED for Picking Monday and Tuesday (not sure about after Tuesday,) as we wait for more STRAWBERRIES to RIPEN. We will walk the patch Tuesday evening and make a post about Wednesday.
PLEASE check our posts before coming to pick. We are making decisions daily on picking conditions and whether or not we will have pre-picked. We want you to have the BEST picking experience possible and to pick the BEST Strawberries possible, so we are making these decisions daily.
The Market will still be OPEN Monday, Memorial Day 9am-1pm. Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm. and Saturday 8am-5pm.
We will not have Pre-Picked Berries on Monday and Tuesday. We will post an update Tuesday evening on the Strawberry Availability for Wednesday. As soon as the Strawberries Ripen and there’s enough volume, we will open the Patch again for picking.
The Good news is that there are lots of BLOOMS and GREEN STRAWBERRIES in the Patch. We just have to wait for them to ripen. So don’t worry, there’s still PLENTY of time to pick! It’s kind of been an interesting Season. We haven’t had a flush of berries yet. Just slow steady ripening. But that’s good too. We’re getting blessed with a longer season.
Monday at the Market we will still have everything but the Strawberries:
Monday will be a GREAT DAY to come grab a hand dipped Ice Cream Cone or Burgers and Brats for your Grill. And we have PROPANE! We can FILL your GRILL TANK.
