Tomato Seedlings are up! Busy, Busy out here at the Farm! We’ve had a busy New Year already at the farm. The first tomato seeds have been planted and are now up. The plan is to plant them beginning of March in our High Tunnels. Mesclun Mix has been planted in the Greenhouse as well, so we should have Fresh Mesclun Mix by the Middle of February.
And GOODBYE PROPANE BILL! We recently installed an Outdoor Wood Furnace Boiler from Central Boiler to heat our Greenhouses with. The Boiler heats hot water and circulates it through the heat exchangers in the Greenhouse. It has allowed us to start our TOMATOES sooner and to plant the Mesclun Mix earlier as well.
